The logistics plan
The route is planned before the cargo leaves China.
We select the most suitable flight option based on the point of origin, cargo volume, urgency and available capacity. At the same time, we plan what happens after arrival in Europe: documentation, transit procedures and the appropriate road transport for the final leg of the journey.
The cargo can then be delivered within the EU or continue onwards to Ukraine.
Documentation is part of the shipment
For us, arranging the physical movement of the cargo is only one part of the job.
Loadstar Unity provides the necessary documentary support, including transit declarations and documentation required for the onward movement of the goods.
This becomes particularly important when the original transport plan changes.
For example, a shipment of five pallets may be booked on one flight. Due to limited aircraft capacity, however, the airline may accept only three pallets, with the remaining two travelling on a later flight.
The shipment has now become two separate movements, and the paperwork and onward transport have to be adjusted accordingly.
In such cases, we coordinate the documents for the quantities actually dispatched and received, arrange the necessary transit documentation and adapt the onward road transport to the cargo that has actually arrived.
So if three pallets arrive in Warsaw, Budapest or Frankfurt today and the remaining two arrive on the next flight, the customer does not have to work out how to reorganise the next stage of the journey.
